The ideal time for a newborn session is typically within the first two weeks of your baby’s life. During this time, newborns are generally sleepier, allowing for those sweet, curled-up poses that parents adore. It’s recommended to book your session during your pregnancy, preferably in the second trimester, to secure your spot in my calendar.

Preparing for Your Session
To help make the most out of your newborn photography session, here are a few tips:
Timing: Try to message me soon after babes arrives. I try to book your session within 14 days. I usually will choose a morning before tummy troubles and witching hour creep in.
Outfits: I will bring along blankets to swaddle, so you’re welcome to have your babe just in a nappy wrapped in a blanket- this way I won’t have to disturb them if they happen to be asleep.
Props: You’re welcome to have out special items like blankets, toys, or outfits that are meaningful to you and your family- just let me know if you’d like me to capture them.
Relax: It’s normal to feel a little anxious, but remember that these moments are for you to enjoy. Trust that I will capture the beauty of your newborn and the bond you share.
After Your Session
Once the session is complete, I will send you a preview of your gallery within 48 hours. Then I’ll carefully curate and edit your photos, offering you a selection of stunning images that capture your newborn. Typically, you can expect your gallery within a few weeks.
