oh hey there!

I’m Jodi.

I’m obsessed with creating, documenting, and making magic behind the lens.

The moment I discovered the manual mode on my camera I was hooked. While I’ve always thought of myself as a creative person- I love painting, DIY, gardening . I even went through a small phase of crocheting. But I never really found something I truly loved until I picked up my camera.

Watching my newborn son grow and change right before my eyes revealed a need in me. A need to document and to capture every detail. Those tiny eyelashes, tiny toes.

Every person behind my lens is truly so special to me. I think I fall a teeny bit in love with every client. Not in a creepy way! Being able to watch and capture how mama brushes her hair back, or dad making his bubba squeal in delight is truly my favorite thing in the world.

I’m obsessed with beautiful light. I’m constantly peering out my car window- discovering gorgeous pockets of light. I’m that annoying person on the road as I’m driving 40 in a 50 zone.

What I want most for our session is to tell your story in the most natural and beautiful way possible. To give you something you can look back on and remember: “Look how you fit in my arms, baby girl.”
