Those first few weeks with your baby are a little bit magical, a little bit chaotic, and gone far too quickly.

My in-home newborn sessions are relaxed, natural and centred around your new little family. No need to pack everyone into the car or worry about making your house look perfect. I'll come to you, bring everything we need, and capture those tiny details and big feelings while you're all settling into life together.

From sleepy cuddles and tiny toes to siblings meeting their new best friend, these sessions are all about documenting this little chapter exactly as it is.

FAQs

In-home Newborn Session

  • It's best to get in touch during pregnancy to secure your spot. Due dates are flexible and we'll confirm the actual session date once your baby arrives.

  • That's completely okay. Newborns don't follow schedules, and your session will include plenty of time for feeding, cuddling and settling.

  • I like to keep my newborn images timeless and simple, so I don’t use a lot of props. I do bring a beanbag and a selection of wraps, blankets and other items for the session.

  • Absolutely. Your newborn session is about your whole family, not just the baby.

  • We had Jodi photograph our 2 week old baby - couldn't recommend her more - professional, yet comfortable to work with. The final product was beyond anything we had imagined - certainly photos we will treasure forever!

Once baby arrives, send me a quick message and we'll find a suitable time to capture those beautiful early days. Ideally, newborn sessions take place within the first 14 days after birth, when babies are often at their sleepiest and most settled.
